Broccoli Bacon Salad Easy Recipe With Homemade Dressing
My Broccoli Bacon Salad recipe is a time tested family favorite with only 5 ingredients. We tend to think of it during the summer months but it’s a great dish anytime of the year.
Everyone should have an easy Broccoli Saladย recipe in their home cooking recipe collection! The only thing actually cooked in this recipe is the bacon and let’s get real, we could actually use those bacon bits in a jar if we were in a pinch! There is something quite yummy about fresh broccoli paired with crisp bacon though.
Crisp bacon, Raisins, Pecans, Fresh Broccoli and chopped Onions are my favorite ingredients for Broccoli Bacon Salad. I sometimes use red onions and may not use pecans if I don’t have them on hand.ย
FUN WAYS TO SERVE YOUR SALAD
A fun way to serve Broccoli Bacon Salad for a summer soiree is in a mug with a summer motif.
You could also use wide mouth small Mason jars
Because the bright green broccoli makes a pretty dish, always serve it in a glass bowl

This looks great, Shirley! I haven’t tried it with raisins. Vidalia onions are the best.
We love the addition of the raisin, it add a tiny bit of natural sweetness and more fiber. You are so right about those Vidalia onions, they are the best! I like the red one’s in the broccoli salad also because they add a nice color.
