Here in the deep south we are serious about our Cole slaw. Some folks prefer the creamy kind and some not so much. Then there is the sweet kind and the not so sweet kind. You can find both options in the grocery store if you are in a pinch and don’t have time to make it yourself.
Of course a true southern girl would go through the drive-thru at KFC or Church’s Fried Chicken if they didn’t have time to make it.

- 1 (16 oz.) bag of Cole Slaw mix (found int he produce department)
- 1 Tbsp. Apple cider vinegar
- ¾ Cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend the last 3 ingredients together in a cup until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour your cole slaw mix into a bowl.
- Pour the dressing mix into the slaw and stir well.
- Cover and set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes prior to serving.
- If you think it needs a little more mayo, add it but the slaw will get a little more creamy as it sits in the refrigerator. Be sure to stir again, just before serving.
- Serve and enjoy.

This is just like the one I make at home, only I shred my own cabbage and carrots. I also add a little chopped onion ( our preference). Still tastes YUMMY. Lol.
