Easy No Bake Sweet & Salty Halloween Dessert Bars
Halloween Dessert Bars are super easy to make with only a few ingredients. Fair warning, make two batches because these vanish quickly.
Crunchy with a gooey peanut butter caramel topping and edible candy sprinkles. This no-bake Halloween dessert is a fun treat for Halloween movie nights or Halloween parties.
These No Bake Halloween Corn Chip Dessert Bars require only a few simple ingredients which are probably already in your pantry.
You will only need one pot and one sheet pan so no big mess either. I’m guessing you don’t always keep Corn Chips so add those to the shopping list.

Ingredients
There are only a few simple ingredients needed to make a pan of Halloween no bake treats. These easy Halloween dessert bars are addictive so you may want to make two batches at one time.
- 1 package (9.75 to 10.5 ounces) Corn Chips, I use this brand
- 1 Cup Corn Syrup, like this
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter (be wild and use Crunchy!)
- Halloween candy sprinkles
Candy Sprinkles are one of the most fun ways to add edible decorations to sweet treats. You can find a nice selection at your grocery store, or Walmart or shop here on Amazon for them. Candy eyes and Halloween sprinkles are the perfect addition to this fritos dessert recipe.
Corn Chips are the ingredient that makes this Halloween season dessert have their salty flavor that compliments the sweet caramel topping. The corn chips make this a unique dessert. You probably would never think of using corn chips in a dessert recipe.
Corn Syrup, peanut butter, and sugar cook together to create a caramel topping with a delicious peanut butter flavor. The salty flavor of the corn chips balances out the sweet bite of the topping.

Large Baking Pan
If you do not already own a large baking pan like this, get yourself one! They are also called Sheet Pans and are multi-functional for all sorts of purposes in the kitchen, not just making cookies. Get the one with the small rolled edge which will catch juices if you are baking meats.
Directions
The topping is sort of like caramel and if you are a lover of all things sweet and salty, you will hit the jackpot with these Halloween bars!
Step 1
Spray a large baking pan (with sides) with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2
Spread the corn chips evenly across the surface of the prepared baking pan. There is no need to break them up.
Step 3
In a large saucepan, add the Corn Syrup and Sugar and bring to a boil over medium to medium-high heat stirring constantly. Allow to boil for about 1 minute and continue to stir constantly.
You can spray a wooden spoon with non-stick spray and use it to stir the mixture.
Step 4
Remove the sweet mixture from the heat and stir in Peanut Butter until smooth. Now pour the mixture evenly over the top of the corn chips.
Step 5
While your Halloween dessert is still warm, add the candy sprinkles on top so they will stick. Allow your delicious Halloween dessert to cool completely before cutting to serve.
Tips for making dessert bars
Spread the corn chips onto the baking pan in a manner to allow the topping to seep through to touch each and every chip if possible.
It is fine if the chips are broken up because they will adhere to the topping regardless as long as they come in contact with it.
How to store
Store any leftover Halloween dessert bars in an airtight container on the counter. They should keep for a few days but there will likely be no leftovers.

Allow cooling completely.
Cut into bars and serve.
