Homemade Chocolate Filled Ice Cream Soda Recipe
Our old fashioned Ice Cream Soda begins with simple quick and easy homemade chocolate recipe and ends with a delightful spoonful in your mouth! Perfect addition to your summer soiree or birthday party.
What is an Ice Cream Soda exactly? Besides a delicious summer treat it’s a simple mixture of ice cream with soda of some sort usually topped with whipped cream and a cherry!
Typically when made with root beer or a cola we call it an ice cream float rather than an ice cream soda. Don’t ask me why, I just follow protocol and enjoy making this ice cream treat for my family!

Ice cream treats are not just for summer! Hubby and I created ourselves a cozy little movie party on the sofa together a while back. We treated ourselves to these Coke floats which are even easier to make if you can believe that.
