Pumpkin Spice Sweet Rolls Stuffed with Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- One can biscuit type cinnamon rolls
- One can rolled type cinnamon rolls
- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie spice
- 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
In a bowl, place a package of softened cream cheese. Top that with one teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice.
Now, add in one Tablespoon of brown sugar and mix well. Then set aside.
You will need two packages of store bought cinnamon rolls. Get one biscuit style and one rolled style.
Set aside the icing packet from both cans.
TWO TYPES OF STORE BOUGHT CINNAMON ROLLS
Now you see why we want both styles. I used Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in the centers and a store brand for the rolled style.
I started by unrolling the rolled style and stretching two pieces along the outside wall of the pan. Then I stretched the remaining unrolled pieces around the center of the pan. They will fall over and that is fine. We are going to prop them up with the biscuit shape rolls and then stuff the empty spaces with our cream cheese mixture.
Next I added the biscuit type rolls into the four corners and the center taking care to be sure they were each in between a wall of unrolled dough.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture into a small ziploc type bag. Snip a small corner off to create a small opening. Squeeze the cream cheese stuffing mixture in between all of the empty spaces.
Bake according to package directions. I used the shortest amount of baking time since the two packages had different cook times. Mine were done in about 24 minutes at 375°. Oven temperatures vary so timing may be more or less for yours.
