TWO LAYERS!
Have you ever made bark candy? I haven’t made much so I have not paid attention to how deep the bottom layer of sweet and salty ingredients usually are. However, being the dare devil that I am, I made this recipe with two layers! Yep, twice as good, right!
The first layer is stirred into the melted white chocolate. The second layer is placed on top of the first then drizzled with more melted chocolate. Nothing to hate here folks!
After the first layer has chilled for just a bit to let the white chocolate set, go ahead and add the second layer of goodies.
I placed the pretzels, broken corn chips and candies onto the bottom layer, then drizzled the melted white chocolate over top taking care to be sure every piece has some of that yummy white chocolate ‘glue’ to hold it into place.
BREAK IT APART
Once you have allowed the melted white chocolate to harden it is time to break it all apart. Big pieces or little pieces? That is up to you. A good combination of both would be nice.
STORAGE
You can store this yummy Festive Christmas Bark in a plastic container like one of these, on the kitchen counter for a few days if it lasts that long.
GIFT IT
This sweet treat is one food gift idea that is easy to make and give! Use your container of choice. Be sure it has a lid. Tuck some gift tissue paper down inside and fill it with Christmas Bark. Top with the lid. Add a ribbon and a gift tag and off you go to deliver sweet treats to someone special.
