Our passion for those delicious fresh fruits and vegetables we associate with spring and summer is being fed right now thanks to Fresh From Florida! My family has just enjoyed this scrumptious Watermelon Blueberry Summer Salad ahead of the summer season!
Watermelon is the Pumpkin of Spring and Summer! Blueberries and Watermelon were born to live side by side and be shared together! No matter how you design it, a yummy Watermelon Blueberry Salad is quintessential to summer!
My Kroger has Florida Watermelons now so my hubby and I picked out a nice one to surprise our grandchildren for a Sunday afternoon treat. While exploring the produce section at our Sam’s Club the very next day, we found Florida Blueberries! Our Sunday afternoon just planned itself! A nice treat for everyone in mid April, Watermelon Blueberry Summer Salad!
While we enjoyed our fresh Watermelon Blueberry Salad at home, it’s the perfect picnic dish too! We will just make our salad in a plastic container with a lid, pack it into our cooler and off we go! We are making plans now for a Spring picnic and this salad is on the menu.
Three ingredients make up this scrumptious sweet and salty summer salad. It’s super simple to make. Just cut up watermelon into bite size pieces. Layer those in a bowl with blueberries and Feta cheese. No need to stir or blend.
Blueberries are a super food and one of my favorite warm weather treats! I may potentially add almost as many blueberries as watermelon when I make this treat.
- 1 Watermelon cut into bite size pieces
- 2 Cups Fresh Blueberries
- 1 Cup Feta cheese chunks
- Layer the ingredients in the dish of your choice.
- No need to toss.

This looks like a perfect summertime treat that’s bursting with flavor. Plus, it would be great for a patriotic party with its combination of colors. Thanks for sharing it with us at Snickerdoodle. I’m featuring it at tomorrow’s party.
