1. Grilled Bacon Pimento Cheese with Pepper Jelly Sandwiches
We take the classic grilled cheese sandwich and turn it into a homemade, gourmet style sandwich you can make in your own kitchen. Don’t skip the pepper jelly, it adds great flavor to this sandwich.
Side Dishes for Sandwiches
Potato chips or French fries and a salad.
Grocery List for entrée
For the Homemade Pimento Cheese
- 1½ cups mayonnaise, Duke’s
- 1 4-oz. jar diced pimiento, drained
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp. onion powder
- ⅛ tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 8-oz. block extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 8-oz. block sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
For the Sandwich
- Sandwich bread of your choice
- Bacon slices, cooked and drained
- Pepper Jelly, found here
- Pimento cheese (recipe here)
- Butter for grilling the bread

2. Grilled Pimento Cheese Burgers
Because we are making Homemade Pimento Cheese Spread this week, we will be using it twice in this week’s meal plan. Make these scrumptious Grilled Pimento Cheese Burgers for dinner one evening. It’s a low-carb meal if you skip the buns.
Side Dish
Best Ever BBQ Baked Beans with Bacon, Chili Cheese Tater Tots, Cheddar Fried Cauliflower Bites, and Corn, Tomato, and Avocado Salad are all good choices.

3. Campfire Chicken & Veggie Foil Pack Dinners
Foil pack dinners are always fun, and the best part is the easy cleanup. This Chicken and Vegetable Foil Packet dinner can be cooked on the grill or in the oven. It is a complete one dish dinner recipe.
Side Dish

Grocery List
- 2 chicken leg quarters
- 3/4 cup baby carrots
- 2 ears of corn on the cob
- 3/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 small red potatoes, quartered
- 2 Roma tomatoes
- 1 sweet onion, like Vidalia onions
- Drizzle of Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

4. Chicken Marsala
Make this popular restaurant dish at home on the stovetop in under an hour using only one pan. The creamy mushroom sauce made from scratch is lip-licking delicious.
Side Dishes
Homemade mashed potatoes are perfect for enjoying the marsala sauce. Pecan Glazed Green Beans or Roasted Brussel Sprouts are good green vegetable choices.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 Cup sliced mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- 12 oz. bottle of Marsala cooking wine

5 Broccoli Bow Tie Pasta Dinner
You can make this Pasta Broccoli Dish recipe a day or two ahead and store it in the refrigerator. This is a good dinner idea to make on Saturday, then refrigerate for a light Sunday dinner.
Side dish
Basil grilled tomatoes can be made on the stovetop and go great with this dish. Sliced Italian bread from the Deli and this Italian butter dip complete the meal.

Salad Ingredients
- 1 cup Bow-Tie Pasta aka Farfalle cooked according to package directions
- 1 head broccoli, florets only, stems removed
- 1 red bell pepper, core removed and cut into thin slices
- 1 yellow bell pepper, core removed and cut into thin slices
- 4 sliced preserved, salt-cured lemons, finely choppe,d including rinds (directions included)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries [optional]
Dressing Ingredients
- 1 cup traditional Greek yogurt (full fat)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 Tbsp. high-quality extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon zest
- salt and black pepper, to taste

6. Crockpot Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings
Slow Cook these Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings for a few hours and then finish them in the oven for a very tasty and different weeknight dinner idea. Finger-licking finger food everyone enjoys.
Side Dish
Let’s make some of these Homestyle Oven Baked Fries to go with those wings. This Watermelon Blueberry salad will round out the meal.

- 1 (2.5 lb.) bag of Party wings available in the meat department
- 1 Can Coke
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Pepper

7 Crabmeat Stew
Crabmeat stew is a delicious and hearty one-pot meal. This easy family recipe for crab stew is ready to eat in under one hour. Loaded with almost spicy flavor. Canned crabmeat paired with Old Bay seasoning creates a delectable dish.
Side Dish
The only side dish needed is a pan of homemade cornbread or Oyster crackers like these.
Grocery List
- 2 cans of cream of potato soup
- 2 cans of cream of celery soup
- 3-4 cans 6 oz. can of crabmeat, drained
- 2 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 medium onion, chopped, optional
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 4-6 cups milk
