- It is understood that you have common ingredients in your pantry, such as salt and pepper, so those are not included in the ingredient lists.
- There are 7 dinner ideas each week, in no particular order.

April Week 3 Meal Plan Recipes
1. Crockpot Zesty Italian Leg Quarters Recipe
These leg quarters come out juicy and full of flavor. The best part is that you only need two ingredients to make this dinner entrée.
Side Dishes
Serve mashed potatoes or rice and your favorite green vegetable, like Peas and Carrots or Green Beans.

2. Beef and Bean Burritos
An easy weeknight meal idea good for Taco Tuesday. One of the good things about a burrito recipe is how versatile it is. Use any additions of ingredients your family enjoys.
Side Dish
Serve a bowl of homemade guacamole and chips on the side for an authentic Mexican dinner at home.
Grocery List
- 1 lb. dry Pinto beans
- 1 lb. ground beef, brown and drain
- 2 pkgs. Taco seasoning
- 1 can of diced tomatoes and green chilies
- ½ Cup sharp, shredded cheese
- 1 pkg. Flour tortillas

3. Cabbage Soup
Do you have some ham leftover from Easter dinner? Use it to season a pot of this Cabbage soup. A low-carb, simple dinner.
Side Dish
Make a pan of homemade cornbread to eat with your cabbage soup. A plate of this Pear and Cherry Salad is like a dessert and a side dish in one.

- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 pkg. 8oz. Ham bits
- 2 Cups Chicken broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar

4. Homemade Mushroom Onion Burgers
It is homemade burger season, and we are beginning this year with these Mushroom Onion Burgers. Fry them in the skillet on the stove or grill them outside. Either way, it’s good eating.
Side Dishes
There are many favorite side dishes to go with burgers at home. Take your pick: Baked Homestyle Fries, Creamy Cole Slaw, Best Ever Baked Beans, or Chili Cheese Tater Tots.

- 1 1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp. McCormick Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning
- 1/4 Cup Sweet BBQ Sauce

5. Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Stromboli
A flavorful blend of cheesy, seasoned buffalo chicken. Make this easy Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Stromboli recipe for any occasion. It’s great for Saturday lunch or game day.
Side Dishes
Let’s make it easy and serve chips and dip on the side with these delicious stromboli sandwiches. Fresh carrots and celery will round out the meal.

6. Crescent Roll and Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast for supper is always fun, and it’s easy on the cook. This breakfast casserole recipe is scrumptious and should be enjoyed often.

Side Dish
Try these Homemade Hashbrowns as a side dish. Fruit goes well with a breakfast dish. This Watermelon-blueberry salad is perfect.

- 1 8oz. pkg. Crescent Rolls
- 6 Large eggs
- 8 oz. shredded sharp cheese
- 1/2 Cup Half-n-half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper

7. Baked Sweet Potato Toppings Bar
A fun weeknight meal idea is this Sweet Potato Toppings Bar for baked sweet potatoes. Let everyone ‘fix’ their own. Buy the largest sweet potatoes you can find. It’s like dinner and dessert all in one.
Side Dish
Serve a nice salad to go with your sweet potato bar.
