You will find funny Christmas party games for groups like the hilarious Reindeer Antler Game. There are festive games for a Christmas party like the Do You Hear What I Hear game and the wildly popular Unwrap The Gift Wearing Gloves Game. A good Christmas game idea for the family is the Jingle Bell Toss game which can be played throughout the season.

#1 Santa’s Delivery Game

This one is a good office Christmas party game because you can easily create teams with co-workers in different departments.

Santa's Delivery Game

How To Play Santa’s Delivery Game

A Relay game to play in teams

The Purpose: The winning team will successfully deliver the most packages.

Supplies for the Game:

  • Wrapped gift boxes
  • Gift bags
  • Jingle bells to go inside wrapped packages

Provide a large number of wrapped gift boxes and gift bags in various sizes with jingle bells inside for fun. No need for ribbons or bows.

Place a card table on both ends of the room. One will be the starting point where the packages will be placed. Select one person to be the hub manager. The hub manager is in charge of keeping count of the number of packages successfully delivered.

One by one, team members aka delivery drivers, will pick up as many packages as they can carry and quickly deliver them to the table at the other end of the room. Once there they will put them all down then pick them back up and deliver them back to the first table where the next member of their delivery team will then go.

Any packages dropped on the floor must remain on the floor and cannot be retrieved except by the hub manager who will return them to the starting table.

As the competition continues, the later players will need to carry more and more packages. The team to deliver the most packages successfully wins.

#2 Do You Hear What I Hear Christmas Party Game

Do you hear what I hear Christmas party game

How to play Do You Hear What I Hear Christmas party game

This game can be played in teams or as individuals.

The object of the game: Guess the number of bells in each box. Be the team or individual with the most correct guesses.

Supplies needed

The number of boxes you use is up to you.

  • Boxes in various sizes. You can repurpose empty food boxes such as instant oatmeal or cereal boxes or use gift boxes. But be sure to use multiple sizes.
  • Jingle bells, like these (also check Dollar Tree)
  • Gift wrap
  • Labels

How To Set Up the Boxes

Place different quantities of bells into each box. Give each box a name or number and make a note of how many bells are in each. Don’t let anyone see your note with the answers!

As you wrap each box, add a large label on the top with the name of the box that matches your list of how many bells are in each.

Example

  • Dasher, 13 bells
  • Dancer, 11 bells
  • Prancer,9 bells
  • Vixen, 7 bells
  • Donder, 5 bells
  • Comet, 4 bells
  • Cupid, 3 bells
  • Blitzen, 2 bells
  • Rudolph, 1 bell

Hint

You can create a big difference in the number of bells in each box by adding three to a box and seven to a box or only one. You get the idea.

How To Play

Give each player a sheet of paper and a pencil to write down their secret guess. Have them shake each box and guess how many jingle bells are in each.

Collect all of the answers. Once everyone is finished guessing, shake each box for the crowd and read the answers out loud stating who the winner is for each box. The person (or team) with the most correct answers wins the game.

  1. It was challenging finding ‘new’ games for this collection! My family looks forward to the games every year and we love new ones! I created about 3 new games in this post with our party in mind. I cannot wait to play #2 and I plan to use those same bells to play #1. It will be so funny when the packages are dropped and bells keep ringing!

  2. I’m always looking for new games to play at our annual Girlfriends Party at church. We always have so much fun watching and participating in the games. We’ve played many of these, but a few of them are new to me. Yippee! One year I had a dance off and it was hilarious. This year we’re doing a painting party so there won’t be any games, but I’m saving this for next year since I’m always on the hunt for new games.

We enjoying hearing from you!
