Weekly Menu Plan # 4 Busy Week, Easy Cooking
We have a very busy week at our house this week. Who doesn’t? I’m so thankful for my Weekly Menu Plan. It relieves the stress of worrying about what’s for dinner every day!
The lack of side dishes, with the exception of Tuesday, Â is what makes this menu easy.Â
We are adding a featured dessert to our weekly menu. Let’s just be honest, dessert happens! This week’s dessert is a super easy recipe though and it includes apples which sort of makes it good for you, right?
3 Ingredient Crockpot Apple Dumplings
Life is short, eat dessert first! I don’t know who said that, but it is a statement with substance!
Sunday dinner at home has always been a favorite family event. It’s the perfect time to catch up with one another from a hectic week. I like cooking Sunday dinners which are really easy since we need time to prepare for going to church. Â
While Sunday dinner needs to be easy, there also needs to be some leftovers for Monday. Who has time cook a big meal on Monday evening when you have spent the entire day catching up from the busy weekend?
Crockpot Roasted Chicken and Vegetables
Be sure to save some chicken for Monday’s salad.
Chicken and Veggie Suddenly Salad I’m using this recipe with the exception of cooking chicken. I’m using left over chicken from Sunday’s dinner.
Below is the link to the product I use to make this salad (affiliate link) It just makes my day easier when I take advantage of prepackaged flavors and ingredients.
Parmesan Italian Crusted Salmon with homemade mashed potatoes and Pecan Glazed Green beans.Â
I keep leftover ham in my freezer divided into small containers for seasoning our favorite soup, good any time of the year!
We are celebrating Cinco de Mayo mildly. I’m not one for spicy dishes. You can always spice them up as you please though.
Grilled Chicken & Black Bean Warm Salad with Basil Grilled Tomatoes
You can do more with canned soup than just heat it in a pot! Use this delicious vegetable soup to create a warm stick-to-the-ribs one dish dinner. (affiliate link)
These Pimento Cheese burgers are actually a low carb meal, providing you don’t eat them in a bun. We prefer them without the bun so we can enjoy this delicious Pimento Cheese recipe.
Our Weekly Menu Plan this week is packed with flavor including our little  Cinco de Mayo meal and short on heavy work in the kitchen.Â

I am so bad about meal planning, but your menu sounds great! I’m especially drooling over that dessert! 🙂
Hi Shirley! I love your meal ideas. I’m right there with you on Sundays–I don’t have time to cook a large meal so I use my slow cooker (it’s awesome) We also do Sunday dinner with my parents so we usually have lots of leftovers. Thanks for stopping by the #HomeMattersParty hope to see you back!
I’m loving all your menu plans. I really need to put this in effect…soon!
