Menu Plan #34 Cook Once Eat Twice One Dish Dinners
Now that we are into December the household budget takes a big hit so managing grocery spending becomes even more of a challenge and our menu plan even more important.
Does Thanksgiving feel like it was a month ago to you too? The leftovers are gone but not forgotten. My schedule is crazy as I’m sure yours is too right now. My menu plan is going to be simple and easy and I’m planning ‘cook once eat twice’ kind of meals. Those are great for the budget and huge time savers for me.
I have been craving these Mostly Homemade Chicken & Dumplings so they are first on the menu plan this week.

One of our winter weather favorites has always been a nice big pot of Crockpot Black Bean Chili.

Another satisfying stick-to-the-ribs meal we love during cooler weather is my Homemade Chicken Pot Pie. We should have just enough leftover for a nice lunch on Saturday afternoon.
