The August Meal Plan includes lots of farm fresh produce. I have listed the fruits and vegetables we are using for each week to help you plan and shop. We are trying to enjoy the fruits and vegetables we have in-season right now while they last! Notice our Veggie supper on the last Wednesday of this month!

Week One Meal Plan
Farm fresh fruits and vegetables we will be enjoying this week: Mushrooms, watermelon, zucchini, potatoes, onions, celery, blueberries and grapes.

Almost Meatless Monday:
Watermelon Blueberry Salad for ‘dessert’
Taco Dinner Kit from the grocery store
If you have any chicken salad left over, take it for lunch tomorrow!
Shrimp Gumbo (this recipe uses leftovers from yesterday’s Low Country Boil)
Week Two Meal Plan
Fruits and vegetables we will be eating this week: Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cauliflower, Yams, Potatoes and Lettuce, Green Beans and Mandarin Oranges.
Grilled Bacon Pimento Cheese with Pepper Jelly
Green Beans (I cheat with canned Green beans)
Week Three Meal Plan
Fruits and Vegetables for week three meal plan; lettuce, cabbage, potatoes, black beans, corn, watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes, butternut squash, pears and cherries.
Baked Egg & Veggie Muffin Omelets (A good recipe for using up fresh veggies like tomatoes and broccoli)
Toast (optional) we will probably skip the bread.
Crockpot Pierogi Casserole via Daily DIY Life
Use up any and all leftovers or make these fun to eat Grilled Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches.
Week Four Meal Plan
Fruits and vegetables for week four of our August meal plan include; cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, tomatoes, squash, avocado and potatoes.
