Traditional Halloween Party Food is always fun and actually fairly easy to prepare with a few minor tricks and tips.
We recently hosted a Peanuts® Great Pumpkin Halloween Party during which we served all these yummy treats we are sharing with you now. Take a look at our party decor, tablescape, food table, games and costumes by clicking here.
Our Halloween party food menu added to the ambience of the party. I was surprised that every single one of the Chocolate Chip Banana Ghosts were consumed and almost all of the Cutie Great Pumpkins too! Actually pretty much all of the food was gone when the party ended except for dessert. No leftovers for lunch the next day!
No need to mix and stir a beverage unless you just want to. We filled our cute drink dispenser with chilled store bought Lime Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch and the children loved it.
How To Make Mummy Dogs
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) crescent rolls
- 1 pkg. weiners
- sliced cheese
Unroll the crescent rolls and create four triangles. You will need to press the seams together. Roll out thin.
Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut each section of crescent rolls into 10 long strips as seen in photo above.
Cut each slice of cheese into approximately 5 small strips.
Place one strip of cheese next to a wiener and wrap as seen with crescent roll strips. Be sure to leave a gap at the top for the mustard eyes.
Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 14-18 minutes.
Allow to cool before adding the mustard eyes.

You will not find much easier fun food to make than these Banana Chocolate Chips Ghosts and the best part is how much the children love them! I was hoping to use a leftover ghosts for a banana sandwich the next day but they were all gone!
Peel the banana. Break in half. You get two ghosts from each banana.
Insert two mini chocolate chips for the eyes and one regular size chocolate chip for the mouth.
Does it get any easier?
How To Make Cutie Pumpkins
- One green bell pepper
Peel the Cuties.
Cut the bell pepper into tiny little sections as seen in photo.
Insert the cut portion of the bell pepper into the top of the Cutie to create the stem.
How To Make Pumpkin Shaped Sandwiches
The secret is a big Pumpkin shaped cookie cutter.
We nestled our Pumpkin Pepperoni and Cheese sandwiches next to some good old fashioned chicken nuggets which are always popular with children.
As you can see, our pumpkin cookie cutter is as large as a slice of bread and that is Italian bread so it’s big! My pumpkin cookie cutter is an older version Wilton similar to this one.
Orange Iced Candy Corn Cupcakes
Prepare your choice of cake mix for your cupcakes. Bake and cool.
Pillsbury Funfetti Orange Vanilla Icing is a deep orange as you can see in our photo. We did not use the sprinkles but added three pieces of candy corn to each cupcake instead.
