Trunk or Treat is an amazing amount of fun! Decorating cars and trucks become competitive every year making the entertainment even better for the kids.
It’s that time of year! Don’t you just love planning for Fall activities? I know I sure do. Cooler weather, Fairs, Festivals, Trunk or Treat and Holidays are all in the plans.
Enjoy these ideas to decorate for trunk or treat.
Cowboy Camp was a very clever set-up! That raw lumber smell along with hay bails and even a faux campfire makes you want to stop and stay awhile.
Moses made an appearance! Bible Characters are among the best Trunk or Treat ideas for church.
This Super Mario Brothers was a big hit at Trunk or Treat! It should be, look how authentic it is! Look at that score!

This kind of light up décor is really beautiful at Trunk or Treat after dark. Fall pumpkin patches are always pretty.
Sports Team Decorated Trunks are a popular theme at every Trunk or Treat I have ever attended.
Minecraft has been popular for years and this particular design is very creative. I especially like their candy stand!
I had to share these Minecraft costumes because they are so fun and DIY!

My personal favorite is always those trunks decorated with a Fall flair just like we tend to decorate our front porches in the Fall.
Notice the RV’s set up in the upper right corner. Those nice folks set up a big bonfire and served S’mores and roasted marshmallows. There is so much fun to be had at a Trunk or Treat event!

Great decorating ideas. I love trunk or treat decorating because when you have such a small space, it makes it less overwhelming to come up with ideas. On average people are much more creative and elaborate when decorating for trunk or treat.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you found a great idea you could use this year! I just love the creativity of Trunk or Treat decorating too!
Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday!

Nancy, I had not heard of it until just a couple of years ago. So glad I did. It is so much fun and a nice, safe alternative. Thanks for stopping by.
I never been to a truck or treat, but I love these ideas! It sounds like a fun event.
Paris, I hope you get a chance to check one out in your area this year. I just know the children and adults would enjoy it!
We head to the church Trunk or Treat not because we’re religious but because it goes on when it’s still light outside and it’s a safe, quick way to trick or treat. Little legs can’t go all over a neighborhood!
Lindsey, I’m so glad you shared with us. That is exactly the reason that churches make the event a public event. Our church goes out into nearby neighborhoods and passes out flyers advertising the event. You don’t have to attend that church to participate. We load up on candy to give out, we need some children to give it to! I think it is even more fun than the neighborhoods with all the fun decorations! Plus the safe environment puts a parents mind at ease.
We did Trunk or Treat for years at our church and we always had the best time. Our outreach has gone in a slightly different direction now, but we have so many good memories of trunk or treating.
These are such cute ideas! The Candy Cottage & Cowboy ones are my favorite! I love all the effort y’all put in to making the event extra special!
Thans Michelle. They are all so creative. Folks do put a lot of effort and work into creating a nice family friendly atmosphere at these Trunk or Treat events. It is just so much fun. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh yes, there are memories to be made. I reflect back now and it has only been a few years that Trunk or Treat became a big deal around our area.
