Even More Trunk or Treat Decorating Ideas
It is Trunk or Treat time again! Harvest and Fall festivals often host a Trunk or Treat as part of the festivities. We are always looking for new ideas to decorate our cars and trucks for the event!
With that in mind, take a stroll through these ideas I captured at a local event last year. All but two are from that event, for a total of 13! Yes, I waited an entire year to share these!

This McDonald’s drive-thru was my favorite at this event! It even has the golden arches out of the camera view.

Pac-Man is classic and always a fun idea. Children of all ages are familiar with Pac Man.
I found this Pac-Man blanket on Amazon that might work for Trunk or Treat decor for a small car.

Isn’t this Emoji Trunk or Treat design just the most fun! It evokes happiness! I love this one!
Amazon has these bright yellow Smiley face balloons with plenty to choose from. Here is their selection of bright yellow smiley face gift bags, too.

Pirate themes are always fun! Kids enjoy dressing up like a pirate for Halloween, so a Pirate theme Trunk or Treat is a great idea. This one is even more so with a treasure chest of candy!

Easy and affordable Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Trunk or Treat design. Porch and party decor does double duty for Trunk or Treat! It is a fun Great Pumpkin Trunk or Treat idea.

Mario and Luigi are always popular. These folks created a fun backdrop and then dressed the part for their Super Mario Trunk or Treat decorations.

Goofy’s Candy Company is adorable. These designs look fairly simple. I must say that I love the Donald Duck costume! It is always fun when the Trunk or Treat hosts dress to match their decorations.
They are parked right beside Mickey Mouse, which also looks like it is fairly easy to decorate for Trunk or Treat. These are great ideas for folks hoping to avoid the spooky side of Halloween.

Monsters Inc. Trunk or Treat is super cute for the little ones.

Our Candy Cottage design Trunk or Treat is patterned after the candy house in the Hansel and Gretel story. The door opens so the Trick-or-Treaters walk inside, get their candy, and go out the other door.

How about these barn doors! The cowgirls are cute, and they even brought their horse!

I like the way this family brought Philippians 4:13 to life for their Batman theme Trunk or Treat. You can find a Riddler costume on Amazon right here.

Boxes are always fun! These folks created a game using a box for their Trunk or Treat. You have to be brave enough to stick your hand inside the pumpkin’s mouth to get the candy.

Some folks prefer to set up a game and give out candy as a prize. This one is hugely popular at this event every year. The Toilet Paper Toss Game!

Shop for ready-made Trunk or Treat Kits at Oriental Trading. They have a nice selection of non-scary and religious Trunk or Treat Kits. They also carry common kids’ program theme Trunk or Treat kits, plus Superhero, Dinosaur, Pirate, and more kits. You will find the largest collection of Trunk or Treat Kits that I have been able to find at Oriental Trading.
