Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 (8ct.) cans of biscuits
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Muffin Cup Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 8ct. cans of biscuits
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted butter

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°. Spray you muffin pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°. Spray you muffin pan with non-stick spray and set aside
  • Open the canned biscuits and break each one into small pieces. Place the pieces in you medium size bowl. Once you are finished breaking up the biscuits you can begin coating them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Add a few biscuit pieces at a time to the Ziploc bag cinnamon sugar mixture, close the bag and shake to coat the biscuits. Remove the coated biscuit pieces and place them into the sections of your prepared muffin baking pan. Fill each section about half way.
  • If you are adding nuts and or raisins, now is the time to place them into each section of the muffin pan.
  • Now, melt the butter in the microwave and then stir the brown sugar in until completely dissolved. Pour a little of this mixture over the tops of the biscuits in each section in the muffin pan.
  • Place the muffin pan into the preheated and oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the biscuits are done.
  • Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes and then remove to your serving platter. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Nutrition values will vary based on the kind of biscuits you use. It is okay to use the buttery biscuits if you like.
