Four Ingredient Mini Cheese Ball Recipe
If you are looking for a good appetizer that is simple, easy, and doesn’t require many ingredients, these mini cheese balls are for you.
I needed an appetizer that I knew my family would enjoy, but I was a little short on time. That is when I decided to make mini-cheeseballs. My crew enjoys a good cheeseball for party food appetizers.

You can make these easy cheese ball recipes for any occasion. I made them for a December birthday party for my husband. Can I get a witness for December babies? They usually get little recognition. My hubby is an early December baby.
This year, we actually pulled off a nice little surprise party for his birthday! It was an intimate little family soiree. We enjoyed good food and watched a Christmas movie together. Our grandchildren thought it was an injustice that their Papa had never seen Home Alone. They wanted to right that wrong. What better birthday gift could a grandparent enjoy than spending time with their favorite people!

Two Mini Cheeseball Recipes
I wanted all the grandchildren to have their own personal cheese balls, no sharing required, so I whipped up these super simple recipes for Four Ingredient Mini Cheese Balls using some favorite flavors. There are two different flavors to choose from.
Spinach & Parmesan Mini Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. Spinach Parmesan prepackaged Dip Mix. (near the salad dressings)
- 8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 tsp. Chili powder
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro or parsley ( I used cilantro)

Directions
Step 1
Measure out half of the package of spinach parmesan dip mix. Save the other half for adding flavor to homemade mashed potatoes.
Place the Cream cheese, Dip mix, and Chili powder into a medium-sized mixing bowl and blend well. You can use an electric mixer to make this process quick.

Step 2
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Set it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill.
Then remove from fridge and shape into small balls, about 2 Tbsp. each. We want them small enough to fit comfortably on top of a good party cracker. I line them up on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Now, place the sheet of mini cheese balls back into the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes to chill.
Step 3
Pour your chopped parsley or cilantro into a small bowl. Remove the chilled cheeseballs from the refrigerator and roll each one in the chopped cilantro to coat the outside. Then return to the refrigerator until ready to serve.
To Serve
Line a pretty serving platter with your choice of crackers. Place each little cheeseball on top of a cracker. Serve and enjoy!
Cheddar Onion Mini Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 ( 8oz.) pkg. Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 pkg. dry onion-flavored soup mix, like this
- 1 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 Cup Smoked Paprika
Directions

Step 1
Place the first three ingredients into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Mix well. I use an electric mixer to make this process easy and quick. You can mix by hand using a good spatula if you like.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill.
Step 2
Remove from the fridge and shape into small balls, about 2 Tbsp per ball. Line the balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Return them to the refrigerator and allow them to chill for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Remove from the fridge and sprinkle or roll in the smoked paprika. I rolled mine for a heavy covering because I love smoked paprika. Then return your mini cheese balls to the refrigerator until ready to serve.
To Serve
Line a pretty serving platter with your choice of crackers. Place each little cheeseball on top of a cracker. Serve and enjoy!
