Substitute grilled chicken tenders for fried chicken tenders.
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐ. Take out your large baking sheet pan and cover with parchment paper for quick clean up. If you don’t have parchment paper, spray the pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
2. Using a large knife cut the whole entire entire package of rolls in half to create tops and bottoms. Place the bottom half onto your prepared sheet pan and set the top half aside. Now, add 6 slices of provolone cheese to the bottom half.
3. Shred the cooked chicken tenders by hand and place plenty of chicken on top of each slider as you go. Then spoon the marinara sauce over top of each sandwich covering the chicken. Now, top the chicken with another slice of provolone for each sandwich. Then place all the slider tops onto each.
4. In a small bowl, add the melted butter with the salt, minced garlic and grated parmesan. Mix together using a small whisk or fork until well blended.
5. Brush the butter and seasonings topping onto the tops of the sliders to cover well. Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 15-20 or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from oven, serve and enjoy!
Pro Tip
Oven temperatures vary. Some ovens cook faster than others, especially convection ovens. Check your sliders at the 10 minute mark to see how quick they are cooking. You want the cheese melted and the tops golden brown.
Butter garlic and parmesan basted super soft sandwich rolls loaded with marinara coated chicken tenders and melted gooey cheese make great game day food too. You can whip up a pan full of these quick tasty sandwiches in no time for your hungry crowd.
We have an abundance of teens in our family and they love these sliders. We never have leftovers. I make these for family get-togethers and make a double batch. I have been known to buy my chicken tenders from the Deli at the grocery store just to speed up the process and save me some time in the kitchen.
How to store leftovers sliders
These sliders are best served fresh. However, you can store any leftover chicken parm sliders on Hawaiian rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 325ยฐ just until warm or in the microwave for a few seconds at a time. Not quite as good as when you served them fresh because the bread won’t be as soft, but still a great lunch the next day.
How To Serve
Serve these Chicken Parm Sliders as an appetizer for parties or game day. They are great finger food and pair well with our Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip and Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Sweet Mini Peppers. These yummy little sandwiches also make a great entree on a busy night.
