My easy spinach artichoke dip recipe is made with cream cheese instead of sour cream. That is why the flavor is off the chain and you will want to eat it with a spoon.
Ready in about 30 minutes, this easy baked spinach artichoke dip is really a mix, heat, and eat kind of baked dip. It’s the perfect crowd-pleaser appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, room temperature
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup shredded Italian cheese blend
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- ½ cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a small casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. You can also make this hot cheesy dip in an iron skillet or a stainless steel large skillet if you like.

It is very important that you drain the spinach. Otherwise, you will have excess water in your dip which will ruin the flavor. See the video below for tips on draining frozen spinach.

In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayo, Italian cheese blend, garlic, and basil. Stir to mix well and then add the drained spinach and chopped artichoke hearts and blend well. Place the mixture into your prepared baking dish. Top with the mozzarella cheese.

Bake for about 25 minutes or until the cheese is gooey and delicious. Serve and enjoy!
