Menu Plan #30
Menu Plan #30 means we have been doing menu planning for 30 weeks now!
All I can say is wow and repeat myself about how much help menu planning has been with staying organized. How about you? Have you been successful with your menu plan? Sure, we’ll stray from time to time because things crop up but for the most part, it’s fairly easy to stick to.
Sometimes we treat ourselves to a yummy meal on Sundays and this is one of those weeks. My Faux Prime Rib is an easy meal for Sunday because you turn the oven off after a time and leave it. There won’t be much to do after church before we’ll be devouring this meal.
Faux Prime Rib Sandwiches. Don’t you just love leftovers on Monday! As the chief cook, I sure do!
We finally have some fall-like weather here in Georgia and I want some fall food like my Southern Style Cabbage Soup. I like to cook some Waffle Iron Cornbread to go with it. There won’t be any leftovers.
Baked Chicken Leg Quarters and Succotash served on a bed or rice.
Apple Stuffed Pork Tenderloin served with stewed cabbage.
It’s Football Friday night and that means I’ll be stopping by Sam’s Club for this deal on the way to the game for some tailgating.
And there you have it. This week’s menu plan doesn’t have a theme. I just planned some dishes we wanted and knowing we are going to our high school football game, made plans for that as well. Food at the stadium isn’t expensive for the lines are super duper long and you really can’t beat that Sam’s Club deal!
