Fairy Garden Tablescape
Our whimsical summer Fairy Garden Tablescape was such fun to create. It was like being a kid again and playing with toys! Of course I did involve the youngest because fun is meant to be shared!
Honestly I have been wanting to create a Fairy Garden Tablescape for a long time but didn’t feel like I had yet accumulated quite enough accessories until now.
Accessories including lots of gnomes are necessary when creating any Fairy Garden. My collection has been accumulated over a few years, some were gifts and some were bargain finds. The bridge was a yard sale find which I repainted in vibrant colors as are true to any Fairy Garden accessories.
Welcome to the Summer Tablescape Blog Hop!
I have teamed up with nine more talented bloggers to share some fabulous ideas you can use to set a Summer Tablescape for your next soiree or just for fun! Be sure to scroll down for links to visit them all!
Our Fairy Garden Tablsecape is set for two in the breakfast nook. Stacking dishes while mixing colors and patterns is always fun. My newest favorites are the blue paisley with butterflies and I am just looking for an occasion to use them! Follow me on Instagram to see where I found those at a bargain price!
Fairy Gardens need flowers! The faux flowers I found on clearance appear to be nasturtium. I wanted to incorporate a few pops of red to pick up the whimsy of the fairy garden mushrooms. The flowers in the tea cups, red polka dot paper straws and napkins match perfectly with the whimsical reds of the fairy garden accessories.

Located in front of each place setting is a scene of gnomes. On one end of the table the gnomes are swinging and having fun. The gnomes on the other end of the table are working and watering flowers. My grandson hatched the idea of creating separate scenes and I loved it.
Joann’s frequently has big sales allowing coupons on sale items. I found that adorable little red truck at one of those sales recently at a bargain price! Almost everyone has fun Fairy Garden accessories these days! My favorite place to find them is in the dollar stores.
Sunflowers, Bluebirds and Polka Dot Red Mushrooms are necessities in any Fairy Garden. Moss grass is a nice touch for the woodsy feel. I chose to create my centerpiece on a large wood slice which is such a versatile item for tablescapes.

My Moss Grass Table Runner was a bargain find at Joann’s but you can also find lots of them to choose from on Amazon here. They are a little messy to work with so keeping a lint roller handy is a smart idea.
The red and white ticking table cloth is actually a large piece of fabric I found at Hobby Lobby. See I have shared one of my secrets! This isn’t the first time I have used a large piece of fabric as a tablecloth. This patio table was quite colorful one summer with fabric I finally used to make Envelope Pillow Covers.
Chances are pretty good that I will be playing with and making changes to our Fairy Garden Tablescape throughout the summer.

So much fun! Thanks for sharing with us at the To Grandma’s house we go link party!
How sweet looking this is. I would have the tendency to want to play with it instead of eating 🙂
This is so stinkin’ cute! And I love your mix of patterns – so bright and bold! Thank you for joining in on the hop! 🙂
Best,
Kelly
Cute & magical! Those little gnomes are just so happy. My favorite is the gnome swinging and great idea to use the wood slice.
This is so whimsical and sweet. I adore this and would absolutely LOVE to eat a meal at your table. It would be magical. I’ve had a blast hopping with you on this blog hop. Happy Summer!
