9 Sandwich Recipes for National Sandwich Day
Happy National Sandwich Day. Let’s celebrate with an easy dinner and make some of our favorite sandwiches!
How awesome is it that there is a National Sandwich Day? I don’t know about you but a day dedicated to easy meals is alright by me!
Any one of these 9 Sandwich Ideas will find their way onto our menu plan at any given time. I like easy and these are all easy. Break out the waffle iron, Crockpot or the stovetop griddle to make these recipes.

Our Meatball Hoagies are made with our Swedish Meatball recipe found here.
I keep a batch in the freezer and just toss them in the Crockpot, cover with Barbeque sauce and cook on low for about 2 hours.
Break out the waffle iron! We’re making Waffle Iron Grilled Tomato & Avocado Sauce Sandwiches with Mozzarella. That’s more than a mouthful.
Pecan Honey Mustard Rotisserie Chicken Salad

Nothing is better than a good ol’ BLT in our house.
There is no ‘recipe’ per se for BLT’s. You just need some good loaf bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato., salt and pepper.
We cook our bacon in the oven. I like to crisp the lettuce after washing it by placing a few ice cubes on it while the bacon is cooking. I allow the ice cubes to sit for about 10 minutes and then place the lettuce on paper towels to dry.
We slather lots of Duke’s mayonnaise on ours. I like mine light on the salt and heavy on the pepper. How do you make yours?
Bacon Grilled Cheese with Pepper Jelly
Tomato & Red Onion Jelly Burgers are a nice twist on the usual burger!
Our Pimento Cheese Burgers have always been popular at our house and we like to grill hot dogs on the stovetop griddle year around.
Crockpot Ranch Chicken Sliders are another nice option for a sandwich night dinner and they are a 3 ingredient recipe too!

Let’s not forget Sloppy Joes! They are a classic sandwich which have been gracing the dinner table for many years. To be honest, and there’s really no other way to be, I cheat and buy the name brand canned sloppy joe’s! Do you?

I love having sandwiches for easy dinners, and these all look so good! 🙂
Yummy! Happy National Sandwich day♥
