Valentine’s Dinner Table Decor

Use our simple ideas to create Valentine’s Dinner Table Decor, skip the restaurant and have a nice quiet evening at home with your Sweetheart. You could create this romantic table setting for your anniversary or even a special occasion date night at home.

There are some rules of etiquette as they pertain to table settings for formal dining and such. However, we are at home and the meal I had planned only required one fork. So, I placed it over top of my place setting next to our water goblets which were used for good old fashioned Southern Sweet Tea!

A quick check on You Tube and you can find napkin folding videos for any occasion. I fell in love with the Rose Folded napkin and was tickled when I was able to follow the video so quickly.

Confession time, I wouldn’t let my fellas use those pretty Rose napkins! I used them for Valentine’s decor on my Buffet in the kitchen. 

We had such a lovely dinner at our Valentine’s Table! We both work so sometimes we just need an easy meal. My Romantic Dinner Easy Menu fits the bill and suits the occasion.  The table set the mood, the meal was delicious and the conversation was lively thanks to setting the mood.

Always use what you have to create layers for a pretty table setting. Be on the lookout for common colors to keep on hand when you shop thrift or discount stores. My red cloth napkins were a thrift store find. The red dishes were a discount store find while on vacation one year. We have had the white dinnerware for many years.

We do not set a Valentine’s tablescape every year. In fact the last time I did it was when I created the one above using my Vintage dishes. 

My red tablecloth serves both Christmas and Valentines. All of the pieces which make up this table setting were thrifted over time. It was just a matter of mixing and matching what I have until I found the collection I wanted to use for this Valentine’s Table Decor.
