Crockpot Lemon Pepper Wings Recipe
When making a variety of wing flavors for guests it is essential to always include Lemon Pepper Wings for die-hard wing fans.
Not everyone eats hot wings! Our two most popular chicken wing recipes are this 3 Ingredient BBQ Chicken Wings and this 3 Ingredient Lemon Pepper wing recipe I am sharing.

My recipe was inspired by a local restaurant that no longer exists in our area. We loved their wings and would often pick up a variety on weekends. We never failed to get lemon pepper because my husband loves those the most.
It became essential for me to learn to make them after the restaurant closed. I tried a variety of different methods including smearing the wings with melted butter prior to baking which was my least favorite method of preparation.

The chicken wing drummettes come in a 2.5 lb. bag. I always cook two of those bags and I buy the store brand. Some folks enjoy the wing section and others enjoy the tiny little drumsticks.
Tools Used
Ingredients
- 2 bags of chicken wing drummettes, bone-in, and skin on
- 24 oz. cola, Coke, Diet Coke, or even Dr. Pepper will work
- About 1/4 cup of Lemon Pepper seasoning
Directions
Step 1
Turn your Crockpot on the low setting. I also like to line my Crockpot with these disposable liners for easier cleanup.

Step 2
Rinse your frozen chicken wings in a large colander under slow-running water to remove any ice crystals if needed. Do not thaw the wings before cooking. They thaw and cook at the same time. Then place the entire bag of wings into the Crockpot and pour the cola over top. The wings need to be barely covered with cola.
Add the lid to the Crockpot then cook on low setting for 3-4 hours or until done.
TIP
Two 12 oz. cans of cola should be enough to cover when cooking 5 lbs of wings. The wings will make juice while cooking as well.

Step 3
Use a large slotted spoon to remove the wings from the Crockpot and back into the colander to drain. Allow all of the juice to drip off and then place the wings onto a large baking pan in a single layer.
NOTE: Remove the wings from the Crockpot carefully as they are tender and will fall apart easily. I use a slotted spoon, not tongs.

Step 4
Preheat the oven to 350°. Sprinkle the wings heavily with lemon pepper seasoning. Bake uncovered for about 10-15 minutes or until crispy.
Serve and enjoy!
