Fall of 2017 while setting a pretty Thanksgiving table I decided to use the popcorn vase filler along with a few votives. Candles really set the mood at a dinner table and everyone deserves to be treated to a nice mood on Thanksgiving.

I created this Fall Mantle Ode to Pinterest in Fall several years ago using several fun ideas including using popcorn as a vase filler. The glass vases are filled with Popcorn kernels, dried Green Peas, and Red Beans.

Another cheap, I mean frugal vase filler idea for fall is the dried peas and beans trick. Depending on the size of your vase, there is another trick to use for this vase filler.
If your vase is rather large you can insert an upside-down plastic cup or paper towel tube into the center prior to adding the filler. This way you need less filler. If using a paper towel tube, be sure to cover the top end using a piece of paper and a rubber band first.
