Easter Bunny Giving Out Eggs Tablescape
One way to really enjoy holidays and special occasions is to create a Tablescape. My Easter Tablescape this year was really fun to create and so whimsical with Easter bunnies giving out eggs to all our guest.

This year I decided to give my Easter tablescape a botanical look with a touch of whimsy. I found all of my Easter decor pieces at one of my favorite places to shop for events, Oriental Trading. Shop Easter shop here.
Thanks to Chloe of Celebrate and Decorate for taking the time to coordinate these fun Tablescape events! Links to about 24 more Easter Tablescapes to see are near the bottom so keep going! If you are joining me from Blue Sky Home, isn’t she talented!
LAYERING THE TABLE COVERS
To create the botanical look, I selected a variety of earth tones and textures including faux grass and faux boxwood greenery.
My table begins with layering a beige tablecloth and two runners. The first runner is brown craft paper which is topped by a faux grass runner. Go see how I used the faux grass runner before on this Fairy Garden Tablescape.
CENTERPIECE
I knew I wanted to feature Easter bunnies in my centerpiece so I was excited when I found all of these matching bunnies at Oriental Trading.
I fell in love with those adorable sisal bunnies when I saw them. They fit my botanical theme and how cute are they with their little orange baskets! I filled their baskets with mini Robins eggs and decided to pretend they are scattering them onto the grass for the hunt.
Outside of the fence on both sides of the table is a row of pastel colored tiny baby chicks. Those remind me of my childhood when my Dad would buy me and brothers a baby chick at Easter.
PLACE SETTINGS
Each place setting has a cute little vintage look bunny stamped drawstring bag filled with Easter eggs. Each egg is filled with a surprise.
A burlap charger anchors our simple place settings. White dinner plates are topped with the most adorable ceramic pink bunny plate also found at Oriental Trading! I thought those bunny plates were unique and different. I especially like the ears. Isn’t it super cute!
At the top of each setting is a ceramic bunny with a basket. A grassy Easter egg fit perfect into the basket.
BUFFET
If we are not planning to serve food on the buffet I will decorate it for special occasions. This year I decided to decorate the buffet for Easter so I could carry the botanical look throughout the dining room.
My biggest inspiration for the buffet decor were the square boxwood mats. I used four of them hung closely together to create one big square on the wall behind the buffet. Centered in the middle is a twig Cross decorated with flowers.
A two tier ceramic bunny anchors the center of the buffet. He hat rim holds more Robins eggs. The second shelf has egg shaped candy Reese’s hid among grassy Easter eggs.
More grass bunnies and a couple pretty pedestal bowls anchor each end. They are Mercury Glass with a Rose Gold pedestal and can be found at Oriental Trading also. Each bowl is filled with Marshmallow Easter egg candy individually wrapped.
Don’t miss the little lamb resin figures I lined along the boxwood on the buffet. They serve as a reminder that Easter isn’t only about hunting eggs. John 1:29 “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Shirley, what a darling table centerpiece for your Easter table. There is something to be said about a little white picket fence. Your bunny collection is so adorable. They look like they enjoy playing in the yard. Your buffet is just as stunning as your table. Your wall hanging with the cross is so unique and so appropriate for Easter. The moss bunnies work so well with all of the greenery. I hope you have an enjoyable Easter holiday and please stay safe and healthy.

Oh Shirley, your adorable table reminds me of Easters when I was a kid (a long, long time ago lol!). So heartwarming. Especially love the table length grass runner and centerpiece. Oh, Shirley, this is really adorable! I keep forgetting about Oriental Trading being such a great party source, but I used them extensively when my girls were young. You’ve done such a wonderful job of making their items look outstanding. The plates are cute, the runner with fenced bunnies and chicks outside just so sweet, and the buffet with the little lambs is very special. My husband loves those marshmallow eggs so much, he will get about five bags when we first see them. They tend to not be stocked like other candies! Take care and be safe. Happy Easter.
