Crockpot Cube Steak & Mushroom Gravy
Crockpot Cube Steak & Mushroom Gravy is a tender and delicious easy weeknight meal with only five ingredients.
You can make a tender cube steak in your slow cooker and provide your family with a hearty dinner without a lot of work in the kitchen.
One of the popular recipes on the blog is our Oven Baked Smothered Cube Steak. My mother taught me how to make it just like I’m sure her mother taught her.
I don’t usually even buy cube steak unless I’m planning to prepare it in the oven but I recently felt guilty when my hubby requested it and I simply didn’t have that much time to devote to the kitchen that day.
There is no way I would ever disappoint my hubby and what wife isn’t flattered when their special recipe is requested, right?
So, out came my Crockpot and I quickly jotted down a new recipe idea which turned out to be quite the winner! The cube steak comes out fork tender and delicious.
This delicious Crockpot Cube steak recipe is prepared with only five ingredients.
As a busy cook, I like to always find a way to get the flavor without all the fuss. While the meat is seasoned with salt and pepper, there is additional flavor from the canned gravy I use in this recipe.
Although I did not include onions, you could. Simply peel and slice thin rings. Toss them in along with the fresh portobello mushrooms. My hubby is happy with almost anything served with rice. Anytime there is gravy involved, you will find rice or homemade mashed potatoes close by on our dinner table.

My family has always loved cube steak in the slow cooker. I have got to try your easy version ASAP. I always brown the cube steak and make homemade gravy, but your way is so much easier and it looks delicious. My husband would absolutely go crazy over this. He loves mushrooms. Looks so yummy!
I love using my Crock Pot and this cube steak recipe looks awesome, I might make this for my sons this winter. I am also going to try those wings! #Alittlebitofeverything
This is a dinner that my family would love! It has the meat my hubby loves, mushrooms for me, and gravy for the kids to top their rice. Pinned.
I’m salivating as these are one of my favourite food combinations – steak and mushrooms! The Crockpot makes it so easy to prepare this recipe and I’m sure the meat just melts in your mouth.
Cube steak and a crock pot, now that’s my kind of meal! Going to have to try this one! Thank you for partying with me at my very first Wednesday AIM Link Party. I shared your post on my social media sites.
Holy yum. Our favorite restaurant serves beef tips with mushrooms and gravy over mashed potatoes, so I might just tweak this recipe to include the potatoes versus the rice- but, I am sure this will not only be just as delicious as that restaurant dish but WAY less expensive. So thank you!
This looks so good!! If only I had a Crock pot or had room for a crock pot!! LOL!!
Thanks for visiting!!
