Do you prefer spooky or not so spooky Halloween fun? We hosted the most fun Not So Spooky Halloween party and you’re invited to take a peek at our party!
Come on over to our Not So Spooky Halloween Party this year where we have mixed some bright fun colors and patterns into the traditional orange and black to lighten the mood!
Isn’t that just the cutest Halloween Owl cut out on the front of the punch dispenser!
If you love traditional orange and black colors for Halloween you will enjoy our Halloween party decorations ideas. Almost everything came from Oriental Trading which is easily everyone’s Halloween Headquarters. They have not so spook and spooky decor as well as great prices on candy including exclusive candy and name brands. You will also find lots of allergy friendly non candy toys to give out as well.
We used four of the Halloween battery operated Taper Candles for a little ambiance. I can’t even tell you how much I love the Haunted House Cupcake Holder!
My motto is Work Smarter, Not Harder so with that in mind, I picked up some chocolate covered doughnuts with pretty colored vampire teeth. See how they match our color scheme! Those were the first to go!
Don’t you just love those googly eyes peeping through the windows on the cupcake stand!
We even found these super fun edible Halloween Fortune Cookies at Oriental Trading. They are individually wrapped so perfect for handing out to trick-or-treaters or including in your goodie bags like we did.

We set up our Not So Spooky Halloween Party on our dining table which is a little wide. That works out great when we have a dinner party but for this party, we turned our table around and decorated the back side with Orange and Black Tissue Paper fans.
The center of our party table is layered with a spider web place mat we already owned, candy dishes filled with sweet treats, a couple of perfume bottles now called potion bottles and a chalkboard sign which comes out at party time.
The mini Jack-o-lanterns are all filled with licorice sticks.

Our Not So Spooky Halloween Party buffet includes sweet and salty favorites. We have pop corn, party mix, pretzel sticks, mixed nuts, Chinese Fortune Cookies, Cow Tails, Caramel Creams, Orange Slices, Candy Corn, Gummie Worms and more. We had plenty of Happy Halloween cupcake picks so we used some in the sweet and salty buffet.
Our table is layered with a purple metallic tablecloth which is topped with the lime green chevron runner, both from Oriental Trading. Our hanging chevron, polka dot and striped Trick-Or-Treat banner and the green Chinese lanterns are also Oriental Trading finds.

What fun Halloween party decor! I prefer the not so spooky look. I haven’t had a look at Oriental Trading in years. I remember getting their catalog when I was a teacher and finding lots of fun items. I’ll need to have a look at their site. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle, Shirley. Pinned.

I like spooky at Halloween, but this is a great alternative. I like the way the theme is still clearly Halloween, but is more toned down. The decorations look great!
Thanks for linking up to #HalloweenHorros 🙂
