Our menu plan this week includes; Feta, Alfredo, Provolone and Mozzarella cheeses along with superfoods; avocado, cabbage and tomato.
We’re also enjoying shrimp, boneless skinless chicken breasts, a Crockpot dessert and we’ll even be using our waffle iron in non-traditional ways this week!
Let’s dig in and begin with Sunday dinner!
You either love grits or you don’t and if you do, you either prefer them thick or thin. As you may imagine to use grits in a pie, they will be thick. Grits recipes are often used for special occasions and celebrations here in the south. This is one recipe you’ll want in your repertoire.
We bought shrimp for our Sunday menu and saved a few for Taco Tuesday! Avocado’s are on the menu again Friday. Do you love avocado’s too?
We do cheat with the frozen cheese ravioli but our recipe for the Alfredo sauce is out of this world yummy and made from scratch!
Hamburger Helper! It’s a one dish dinner ready in under 30 minutes. My hubby’s favorite is Crunchy Taco so that’s tonight’s dinner. Which Hamburger Helper is your family’s favorite?
So what if you don’t have a Panini maker or a sandwich maker, you may very well own a Waffle Iron like I do. I hope you visited our Waffle Iron Cornbread recipe from Monday’s menu. What do you make in your waffle iron besides waffles?
More summer fresh tomatoes on the menu plan this week! Our Waffle Iron Grilled Avocado & Tomato Sandwich is smeared with some of that luscious Avocado Cream Sauce we made on Tuesday. I splurged on fresh mozzarella to slice for these sandwiches too!
Recipe will be published on Tuesday. Ingredients include, fresh tomatoes, sourdough bread, fresh sliced mozzerella and Avocado Cream sauce.
I picked up a bag of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts for our Wednesday menu so I’m going to use a couple more pieces for Chicken sandwiches today. We usually just make our chicken sandwiches on burger buns with our favorite condiments and melted provolone.
How do you make your chicken sandwiches?
Crockpot Apple Dumplings Only 3 ingredients for the Apple Dumplings then pile some vanilla ice cream on top for a nice summer treat!
