I love easy recipes, don’t you!

One of my clients shared this recipe with me many years ago. She was an older and much wiser lady with whom I enjoyed visiting. I cleaned her home for many years, more than 12. Over that time we shared quite a few interesting conversations about anything and everything in life. She shared this recipe with me one Christmas when she was preparing this dish for a Christmas party.

An easy 3 ingredient recipe for dinner or perfect for party food!
  • 1 bag of frozen meatballs
  • 1 8 oz. jar of grape jelly
  • 1 12 oz. jar of chili sauce
  1. Mix the jelly and chili sauce together in the crock pot.
  2. Stir in the meatballs, no need to thaw first.
  3. Cook on low for about 3 hours.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

If you are using this recipe for a crowd, simply double or triple the ingredients depending on the size of your crowd. You can easily cook these on top of the stove rather than in the crockpot. I like using the crockpot for the convenience when making these for a party.

erry Christmas!

    • No grape jelly? I love learning little tidbits from other lands. I’m at a bit of a loss but I suspect there would be a sufficient substitute to achieve a similar flavor profile. It’s certainly an easy and tasty dish. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Yum! If I had a dollar for every time I’ve taken these babies to a church potluck! Seems that everyone likes these once they’ve tasted them. Sometimes, I’ll put these in the crockpot with barbecue sauce and have meatball subs with pepper jack cheese. I think this is one staple that should be in the freezer at all times. Yum again!
