Menu Plan #33
Menu Plan #33 is our post Thanksgiving meal plan for a busy week ahead which includes decorating and shopping.
Another Thanksgiving is in the books. We hosted a total of 16 in our home with a traditional Thanksgiving feast shared with family and friends served with a side of laughter and good times. The rules for our celebration include Bring Your Own To Go Containers! We overcook on purpose so that everyone will have leftovers of their favorites to take home.
Leftover Ham Casserole will be delicious and we’re looking forward to it! Pasta and cheese is our comfort food today.
Crockpot Taco Soup is a pleasant change from the heavy holiday food we’ve been enjoying. I’m making a really big pot for premeditated leftovers so Wednesday’s dinner is done too!
Leftover Crockpot Taco Soup
We treat ourselves to a nice Baked Salmon dinner at home from time to time. It tastes better than restaurant quality to us and it is really so easy to prepare.
I make salmon a couple of different ways but for this one, I simply seasoned with salt and pepper and just a tad of lemon pepper.
Bake at 350° for about 10- 15 minutes.
Serve with green beans and rice or mashed potatoes.
One of our all time favorite comfort food casseroles is the Jazzed Up Meat & Potato Casserole. It’s another premeditated leftover meal on this week’s menu plan. Saturday will be busy as Christmas season approaches. There is shopping and decorating to do so leftovers available in the ‘fridge are just smart and easy on the budget.
This is an easy week on the cook at our house with the meals I’ve selected. We are looking forward to comfort foods and favorite meals. My Crockpot Taco Soup recipe is super easy and scrumptious!
