Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

This easy Peach Cobbler recipe can be made with either fresh or canned peaches. It is a dump and go recipe for making an easy dessert any time of the year.

We think of Peach cobbler as a summer dessert but you can enjoy this fruity dessert anytime of the year and don’t forget it makes a good Thanksgiving dessert.

Ingredients

This easy peach cobbler recipe with cake mix uses only three or four ingredients depending on if you like the cinnamon flavor. It’s a great dump and go dessert for any time of the year.

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup, undrained
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix, I like this brand
  • 1/2 cup butter cut into pats
  • 1 tsp. of ground cinnamon, optional

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray you baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Step 2

Open the canned peaches and dump them, juice and all into your prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the peaches if using.

Step 3

Pour the cake mix evenly across the top of the peaches and pat down using the back of the wooden spoon.

NOTE: You may not need the entire package of cake mix depending on the size baking dish you use.

Step 4

Cut the butter into small pats and place them all over the top of the cake mix, close together.

Step 5

Bake at 375° for about 30 minutes or until the cake mix is golden brown. Remove from oven cool and enjoy!

Notes

You may not need the entire box of cake mix depending on what size baking dish you use. If you use an oblong dish, you may use the whole box.
Peach Cobbler is great with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on top.
