I serve my boiled cabbage with this dish. Cabbage and Pork go well together for a weeknight meal.
My recipe for Apple Stuffed Pork Tenderloin is slow-cooked in an oven bag for a tender, juicy and tasty meal.

I use Reynold’s Oven Bags, the large size for this recipe. Be sure to toss a couple of tablespoons of flour in the bag so your meat won’t stick, works like a charm.
Ingredients
- (1) 3 lb. Pork Loin
- 2 large Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Onion powder
- 1 Tbsp flour
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a baking pan with foil and set aside. Add the flour to the oven bag and set aside. Peel, core, and cut up two large apples. I prefer Honeycrisp apples for their sweet flavor.

Step 2
Make deep cuts into your pork loin and place the apple slices into those cuts. Be careful not to cut all the way through the meat. You are creating a pocket to place the apples into.
Step 3
Now place the meat into the prepared oven bag and season. Then drizzle with syrup. Seal the bag according to package directions which include some cautions. Place the pork loin onto the baking pan.
Never let the bag hang over the sides of the pan and don’t let it touch the heating elements in the oven.
Step 4
Place the baking pan into your preheated oven and bake until the meat is done, about 2 hours. Check the meat every 20 minutes after the first hour to see how fast your oven might be cooking. Pork needs to reach an internal temperature of 160º. Serve and enjoy!

We are big fans of cabbage at our house and it pairs well with most pork dishes. I cook my cabbage on the stovetop while the meat is in the oven.
