A huge thank you to At Home Stores for sponsoring our #MyReason Fall Home Tour
Come on in and look around Our Fall Home Tour 2016. I hope you find some ideas you can put to use in your own home.
Fall has always been my favorite season. I enjoy decorating for fall just as much as decorating for Christmas! My style for fall is affordable with lots of autumn colors to make the indoors feel cozy.
Hoblee would like to welcome you into our home for our 2016 Fall Home Tour. He likes to cozy up on my afghans.
Our little scarecrow family creates the warmest welcome by the coffee pot!
In our home, anyone is welcome to Sit-n-Sip. I’m a big fan of coffee and conversation. My hubby and I love our new stoneware mugs I found in the kitchen section of the At Home Store too.
We have dinner at our kitchen table almost every day with few exceptions. A simple and functional table setting is all we need to have that fall feel. I picked up two sets of those orange burlap pumpkins. There’s three per pack so keep your eye out for where we used the last two.
I found our simple fall centerpiece in the floral department. It’s adorable in a small wooden drawer with a metal handle but I added a couple of scarecrow picks since I seem to have a thing for scarecrows this year. Scarecrows in the fall are like snowmen at Christmas aren’t they!
Visit Our Fall Mantle An Ode To Pinterest post for my lighthearted look at how I decorated the mantle this year.
The fireplace is in the den which is where we like to spend our Saturday mornings sometimes in the cooler months. Last year I made pillow covers with repurposed plaid shirts, you can find that post here.
My new ‘Give Thanks’ Scarecrow was in the Harvest section of my At Home store. Doesn’t she look happy and cute too with those pig tails! You can find my easy tutorial for the Scarecrow Candy Corn Centerpiece sitting on the end table here.
Let’s walk back through the kitchen into the dining room before we make our last stop in the Living room.
On the way through the kitchen, I’ve done minimal decorating of the bar with a two tiered plate stand styled with one pumpkin and pine cones.
The dining room tablescape is bit more detailed than the kitchen for our fall decor. Take a look at all the details of our Farmhouse Style Fall Tablescape in the dining room here.
Now, let’s head in to the living room for the last leg of our fall home tour.
The white wood gazebo lantern was on my hearth for my Simple Summer Mantle. How much do you love that gorgeous porcelain White Cutout Pumpkin!
If it’s accent pillows you need, please go to your At Home store because they have the largest selection I’ve seen. I fell in love with my new leaf pattern pillow the instant I saw it and it was so affordable!
My antique kerosene jar was an antique shopping trip find which I styled with popcorn and white zinnia. The white pumpkin is crafted from a sweater. Both are contained in a large metal tray with lots of patina. The afghan resting on the stool under the tray was a wedding gift in 1997 which I’ve managed somehow to take care of all these years.
We live very rural, ‘out in the country’ and our home is off the road so I generally hang my wreaths inside for us to enjoy. You can see how I repurposed some fall decor to make my Cornucopia Wreath on the door here.
Thanks for stopping by, so glad to have you in my home. Please be sure to stop by the other eight homes sharing their #MyReason Fall Home Tours with us this autumn.
Thanks to At Home Stores for sponsoring our Fall Home Tours this season. Here are just a few of the items I found to decorate my home from my local At Home Store. Go Here to find your nearest location.
