Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp Butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • While the oven is heating, mix up your biscuit dough. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, buttermilk, sugar, salt, and half the melted butter. Mix until well blended using your hands or a spatula.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 30 seconds.
  • Roll the dough out using a rolling pin to about 3/4 – 1 inch thick.
  • Cut out biscuits using a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
You can also use the rim of a glass if you do not own a biscuit cutter. The size of your biscuits will be determined by the size of the rim of the glass. If you can be around 2 to 2 1/2 inches would be ideal.
  • Place each biscuit onto your prepared baking sheet. Place the baking pan into the preheated oven.
Bake for 10-13 mins or until they have risen and are golden brown.
  • Remove the hot biscuits from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining melted butter. Serve and enjoy!
