This easy McDonald's copycat buttermilk biscuit recipe uses only a few simple ingredients. These homemade fluffy biscuits make great breakfast sandwiches you can fill with bacon, sausage, eggs and cheese or whatever you like.
While the oven is heating, mix up your biscuit dough. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, buttermilk, sugar, salt, and half the melted butter. Mix until well blended using your hands or a spatula.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 30 seconds.
Roll the dough out using a rolling pin to about 3/4 – 1 inch thick.
Cut out biscuits using a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. You can also use the rim of a glass if you do not own a biscuit cutter. The size of your biscuits will be determined by the size of the rim of the glass. If you can be around 2 to 2 1/2 inches would be ideal.
Place each biscuit onto your prepared baking sheet. Place the baking pan into the preheated oven.Bake for 10-13 mins or until they have risen and are golden brown.
Remove the hot biscuits from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining melted butter. Serve and enjoy!
