Our recipe for Crockpot Zesty Italian Leg Quarters recipe has only two ingredients and plenty of flavor. It’s one of the easiest and most yummy meals you can toss in your Crockpot.
This weeks menu is one we will really enjoy with a new crockpot recipe, an easy one dish family favorite Sunday dinner, and a weeknight Salad Buffet served from the kitchen counter! We’re even planning a Brunch on a lazy Saturday at home! We’ll be watching movies, lounging around the house and enjoying one of my hubby’s recipes for brunch.
I tend to enjoy serving traditional Sunday dinners like my Momma always did. Sunday mornings can get a little rushed getting ready to leave for church sometimes when I’m trying to get dinner going too so I prefer easy to prepare meals for Sunday dinner. It’s nice to come home after church and relax at the kitchen table over good hot home cooked food!
Summer is drawing to a close, only in our minds because the heat sure hasn’t started leaving yet! My thoughts have turned to Fall and I want to get in those luscious, summer favorite sandwiches, BLT’s one more time while I can.
Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich on Wheat, heavy on the Duke’s mayonnaise, light on the salt and heavy on the pepper! That’s how I eat mine. How do you prefer yours?
There is no shame in my game! It’s Taco Tuesday and I have a lot on my to-do list. My motto is ‘work smarter, not harder’ so I’m enlisting the help of Hamburger Helper for tonight’s meal. We will be having Crunchy Taco Hamburger Helper served with rolls from the Deli. I have enough rolls for tomorrow nights dinner as well.
Crockpot Zesty Italian Leg Quarters served with Homemade Mashed Potatoes and rolls.
I’m cooking for two, you can simply use more dressing mix for the amount of meat you will be preparing. There are about 3 packets to each box.
2 Leg Quarters
1 packet Zesty Italian Dressing Mix (I used the store brand)
I always wash my chicken first. Then place the leg quarters into the crockpot and sprinkle with the dressing mix. Cook on low for about 3 or 4 hours or until the chicken is done.
Recipes don’t get much easier, do they?
My new recipe for Crockpot Zesty Italian Leg Quarters will certainly make multiple appearances at our dinner table. It’s a really easy meal to prepare and tastes delicious. The only difference my husband requested was one more piece of chicken. He enjoyed it so much and I didn’t make extra for leftovers this time.
Glazed Baked Spam served with rice. This is a super easy meal to prepare on a weeknight.
Our All the Fixins Salad Buffet Weeknight Dinner consist of some of our favorite salad toppings. I just pile everything onto the kitchen island and we serve ourselves.
We are having pan seared chicken thighs which I season with salt, pepper, sage and paprika, Chopped boiled eggs, cut up fresh mushrooms, french fried onions topping, dried cranberries, store bought salad mix, and thin sliced Vidalia sweet onions.
I l-o-v-e when my hubby makes this dish! Southern Shrimp and Grits Pie!
We are having Brunch! We have a lazy Saturday at home planned with lots of lounging on the sofa and movie watching. No one wants to stand in the kitchen and prepare a big meal so we opted for a brunch instead!
How can you be lazy at home on Saturday without dessert too? While Stacy is making our Shrimp and Grits Pie, I’ll prepare these Crescent Apple Cinnamon Rolls. After we are done cooking, the kitchen will be closed the rest of the day!
