Top Blog Posts of 2014
It’s time to share those top blog posts for this year! A lot can happen in one year on a blog! 2014 marked my first full year as a blogger! (insert big smile here) A big ol’ THANK YOU to each and every one of you who visit this blog and take the time to comment and share. You are much appreciated.
I met a lot of great blogging buddies, formed relationships, networked like crazy, sometimes for way too many hours in one day and joined the linky party movement! Please stop by every Friday for a brand new Home Matters Linky party, the next one is Jan. 9th!
I found that wonderful world, some would say underworld, of giveaways! I’d like to believe that as I continue to grow and experience on the job training as a blogger, my posts quality and photo skills will also continue to improve. Am I perfect? Nope and I never will be, but I sure am having fun!
My Top 10 list is based on most visited posts using the site analytic’s as my guide.
Drum roll please!

It isn’t too surprising to see the Christmas party games posts as the #1 performer. The traffic from Pinterest was phenomenal on that posts and continues to be.
The surprise for me is the How to Have a Baby With Almost No Money in the First Year post! That one was a guest post from a new blogger. She did a great job but the surprising thing is how many people are using search engines to find this information!
Pinterest continues to be my #1 source of traffic with more than 30K views which is great since I currently have about 3,400 followers on Pinterest.
I’ve had a wonderful time working on my blog. I’m not the most organized blogger you will ever come across but I enjoy what I do and look forward to another great year here at Intelligent Domestication’s!
I always enjoy revisiting old posts and seeing the top posts of the year. You had some great ones, Shirley. I’m looking forward to 2015 with all of my blogger friends. So glad that I “met” you while doing something we both love and doesn’t seem like work at all. Except for promoting via social media. Sometimes that really feels like work. I’m dreaming of a virtual assistant. ๐ Maybe one day . . .
