I have canned before and I love it! I love knowing that I did it myself and the fact that I have extra food put away for when it is needed is a comfort!
Nicole, canning is very self satisfying, isn’t it!
No, I’ve never canned before, but I’ve been wanting to give it a shot! And OH MY GOODNESS, I NEED THOSE GREEN MASON JARS!!!
I’ve never canned before, but my parents sure did! They would go to the local farms and can everything fresh in its season 🙂 I’d love to continue the tradition. I love this green color – so country 🙂
I love to can! It is labor intense BUT SO REWARDING! I also freeze allot of our summer bounty. Though I prefer to can as it does not get freezer burnt. I am SO EXCITED about this give away!
No I have never canned before, but I’d like to try it one of these days.
Good luck Tara! Canning is really not hard. Don’t be intimidated by the process. I don’t use a pressure canner, they scare me. I just use a big dutch oven, works just fine!
Yes, I love to can tomatoes and other veggies!
yes! i love canning! we can our own veggies from our garden – make pickles and relish from cucumbers – sauces from the tomatoes…etc
I have never canned before but I would love these to make jar salads for my family for.lunches!
