Donut pan, like this. You can use a mini donut pan or one for full size donuts. The number of donuts you make will depend on the size pan you use.
A large mixing bowl for the wet ingredients. You will pour the dry ingredients into this bowl which is why it needs to be large.
A medium mixing bowl for mixing the dry ingredients.
Whisk for mixing the recipe together. Mix the dry ingredients first so you won’t need to get two whisks dirty.
Measuring cup and measuring spoons.
Piping bag or sandwich bag for piping the pumpkin doughnut batter into the baking pan.
Scraper Spatula for scraping the bowl.

Two
In a medium bowl, add the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin spice, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
BAKING TIP
Always measure your flour into the measuring cup and use the back of a knife to scrape the flour off level with the top of the cup for an exact measurement.
Three
Add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture and mix until smooth.
Spray your donut baking pan with nonstick spray.

Now, spoon or pour the donut batter into a piping bag or use a ziptop bag with a corner snipped off. Fill each section of the donut baking pan about ¾ full.
Bake the donuts in the middle of the oven for about 12-14 minutes, or until fully cooked. You can use the toothpick test to check if they are done. A toothpick inserted into the center that comes out clean means they are done.
Cool then frost
Remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack before frosting.
While the donuts are cooling, prepare the maple glaze.
Maple Glaze Recipe
A quick and easy maple frosting or glaze. I dipped my donuts but you can pour the glaze over the top if you like. Just sit your cooled donuts onto a wire rack over a baking pan to catch the drippings.
Measure the powdered sugar into a medium bowl.
In a medium bowl, melt the butter. Then add the maple syrup and milk to the melted butter and stir to combine.
Now add the powdered sugar and whisk until smooth.
