Have you tasted the goodness which is Orange Blossom Cake? I had not until recently. It’s just as tasty as it is pretty with some surprising ingredients.
I love it when my hubby watches the Food Network. He loves to cook and gets in the mood from time to time. I always share his recipes on the blog. Although he prefers to bake, he does cook a dinner recipe from time to time too. This time he was inspired by an Orange Blossom Cake recipe!
You guessed it. He saw this cake being prepared while watching the Food Network and printed the recipe right then! I knew we had joy in our future.
This was Stacy’s first bundt cake. Isn’t it pretty without any icing? This Orange Blossom Cake was very moist and full of flavor.
It was really hard not to stick my finger in that icing! The cake and the icing both have orange zest.
I simply had to throw myself a little tea party with a slice of Orange Blossom Cake. Invite some friends over. Take the good dishes out and share coffee, cake and conversation.
This cake recipe is a little bit different in that one of the ingredients is cornmeal and one ingredient is orange blossom water. I am shamelessly sharing an affiliate link for the orange blossom water because we couldn’t find it in our grocery store.
Stacy substituted Blood Orange juice concentrate which we found in the health food section of the grocery store. We are only talking about 2 teaspoons so I don’t think there was a noticeable difference.
Everyone loved the cake and the icing. We all agreed however that the orange zest didn’t need to be in both the cake and icing for our taste. That being said, it disappeared quickly because it was delicious, moist and such a pretty cake.
You can find the recipe right here.
I was inspired to do a little research on the Orange Blossom Cake which inspired me to share some of my results with you sweet folks. I learned that all Orange Blossom Cakes are not created equal. Most of them do have the orange blossom water in common. I did find that some folks use orange juice instead, good to know.

We will be making the Orange Blossom cake again with some minor changes. You can’t miss out on experiencing a cake this good!
