Ingredients
As mentioned this sweet treat recipe only has three simple ingredients. I love a good recipe cheat and this is one of those. We used brownie bites from our grocery store bakery. However, I have also whipped up some homemade brownies using a boxed mix too. There is no shame in my game. I’m looking for quick and easy most of the time and that is what these easy holiday treats are.
- 48 brownie bites
- 1 container (about 2 cups) white vanilla frosting
- 48 Hersheyโs Kisses Santa Hat Chocolates
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a work surface where you can line up all of the brownie bites like an assembly line.
Step 2
Place the vanilla frosting into a piping bag with a star tip. This job can be made easier if you set the piping bag down into a glass as shown to fill with the frosting. If you do not have a piping bag, you can snip the tip from the corner of a plastic bag, like Ziploc.
Step 3
Place one Hersheyโs Santa Hat Kiss on top of the frosting, in the wrapper. Notice the little paper says Ho Ho Ho.

The Brownies
I recommend as a time-saver that you buy the Brownie Bites from the grocery store bakery pre-made. It’s a nice little trick to save time and I am a firm believer in kitchen hacks that save time without sacrificing flavor.
If you want to make them yourself, be sure to use mini muffin tins with the mini cupcake wrappers. The foil wrappers are a perfect addition to holiday cheer for your Christmas party.
You can use a boxed brownie mix, like Betty Crocker which is quick and easy and doesn’t even require an electric mixer. Most boxed mix require vegetable oil and one or two eggs.
If you simply insist, make your brownies from scratch and then decorate them with white frosting and chocolate Santa hats following the directions above.
Regardless of whether you use the grocery store bakery Brownie bites, use a box mix, or make your brownies from scratch, in the end, you will have delicious Santa Hat chocolate brownies.
Chocolate cupcakes
You can absolutely do this with chocolate cupcakes. I would still make them in a mini muffin tin because they are so stinking adorable and perfect little Santa Hat chocolate treats.
Make these for holiday gatherings large or small, Christmas movie night, leave them out on Christmas Ever for Santa, as gifts for family members, school class parties, work holiday parties, or any festive occasion during the holiday season. You can make them just because you want them for your family at home.
The perfect chocolate treat for the holidays. Santa’s hat is a bonus little chocolate kiss on top of the brownie bite. Your holiday baking just got easier. This is a no bake dessert unless you simply insist on making the brownies yourself.
