March 25- April 3. Macon’s International Cherry Blossom Festival

Milledgeville

March 1- April 30. Old Govenor’s Mansion “Mothers and Daughter” An exhibition of Nineteenth Century Ladies Clothing, Curated by PNJW Collections, Kennesaw, GA.  Features children’s clothing, adult dresses, and maternity clothing from the mid-19th century. Additional artifacts will include accessories for adults and young girls, and a photograph collection showing various dress styles of the period.

Georgia Sports Hall of Fame presents the last film in their  Free Family Film Series with Wreck It Ralph. Two show times include Noon and 2 pm. Doors open at 10 a.m. and admission is free. Popcorn and drinks will be sold in the rotunda. Come early and tour the museum, seating is first come first served.

Antique Car Show at Jarrell Plantation Historic Site 10 am- 3:30 pm.  See car models spanning bygone eras and enjoy music, food, door prizes and stationary steam engine demonstrations. While walking the trail, you’ll also see an 1847 house, sawmill, cotton gin, sugar cane press, barn and more. Antique autos from 1979 and earlier.

Bearstock 1 pm- 11pm at Tatnall Square Park. A family friendly event sponsored by Mercer University featuring food vendors, bands and artists. No Alcohol allowed. Free admission.

Birdfest at Andalusia Farms from 4:30 pm- 7 pm. 2628 N. Columbia St. Milledgeville, Ga. Andalusia is the picturesque farm in Milledgeville, Georgia, where American author Flannery O’Connor lived from 1951 until her death from lupus in 1964. Andalusia is an old dairy farm operated by O’Connor’s mother.
