Spring cleaning can easily be broken down room by room to make the task less daunting. I mean, who has time to spring clean the entire house all at one time?
I’m not an easy person to convince. After using the same soap scum remover for the last, well let’s just say, many years, I’ve found a product I’ve decided to switch to. Why? Because Lemi Shine products are powered by 100% natural citric extracts. Does that get your attention too?
When we first started our cleaning business back in 1997, one of the most often asked questions we received was “Do you charge to clean bathrooms?”
All these years later, I can say in all honesty, the master bath is the most used and dirtiest room in the house. Everyone in the family enjoys showering in there, soaking in the bigger tub, or applying makeup because there’s more light. Am I right?
Soap scum buildup is real and it is a situation which requires proper attention. Like I said, I’m not easily convinced so I put Lemi Shine Shower+Tile Cleaner to the test and made a short video so you could see too.
Natural citric extracts and foaming action dissolve soap scum, hard water buildup and grime while a naturally-derived polymer creates an invisible barrier preventing new buildup.
The foaming action works great on soap scum but the bonus for me was no fumes.
There is more to spring cleaning you master bath like a boss than just soap scum removal.
You’ll want to also use the Lemi Shine Glass+Surface Cleaner for other surfaces. Grab a coupon here. After the first use, Lemi Shine Glass & Surface Cleaner creates an invisible barrier shielding surfaces from dust, fingerprints, and water spots. Smudge and dust resistance make it easier to clean next time.
Now that we know which products we’ll be using, let’s get to that list!

Cleaning the bathroom is probably my least favorite chore ever! And we have hard water, so I feel like it makes the soap scum situation even worse. I need to look for this brand and give it a try!
I’ve never heard of this brand before. Cleaning the bathrooms is one of my least favorite household chores, so any tips I can get is welcome! Thanks!
I am actually looking forward to spring cleaning! Except my spring cleaning is actually summer cleaning, as we do a big clean when our homeschool year ends.
Bathroom cleaning is the worst! 🙂 But it feels so good once it’s done! I will have to look for this in stores.
It is indeed the most dreaded room to clean! That’s why I ended the list with ‘dare anyone to go in there!’ lol
This is a new product to me. I am glad you shared your thoughts on it though. I am always looking for something that will get rid of that bathroom soap scum!
Cynthia, I take that soap scum cleaning process very serious! I’m not easy to convince to leave a trusted product but I’m very happy with the Shower+Tile Cleaner from Lemi Shine.
I have never heard of this brand. Cleaning the shower doors and tile sucks. Anything that makes the job easier is worth it.
I agree Gloria. I want a good product that requires less elbow grease while still getting the job done.
I need to finish up nmy Spring cleaning and the bathrooms definitely need some serious scrubbing. I have not heard of this tile cleaner product before. I hope my local grocery store has these. Thank you for sharing!

I have been wanting to find a new cleaning household cleaning product so thank you for letting us know about this. While I like having homemade all natural cleaning products, sometimes they need a little help to clean certain areas. I think I have used something similar to this from Target before (the bottle looks familiar). But I don’t think it was called Lemi Shine.
I’ve never heard of this product before. The next time I’m in Walmart or Kroger, I’ll make sure and look for it. I love that they are non-toxic and powered by citrus extracts. I’m always on the hunt for the best cleaning products that save me time and aren’t filled with chemicals.
I HATE cleaning our master bathroom (for all the reasons you mentioned—it gets so dirty so fast!), but it sounds like Lemi Shine could make the process a lot easier and more bearable. I’ll be grabbing a coupon and checking it out! Love the printable checklist too.
