Italian Roasted Cauliflower Steaks Recipe

Make these oven roasted cauliflower steaks as a light lunch, snack or a side dish with dinner. Simple ingredients ready in about 30 minutes. A delicious Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 large heads cauliflower
  • 1 Tbsp Robust olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic, finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1/4 Cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare a large-rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Preheat your oven to 400°. Be sure your oven rack is in the center position.
  • Divide the grated Parmesan cheese evenly into two small bowls.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Whisk together and set aside.
  • Cut the cauliflower into 1″ thick slices and place each steak onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush with the seasoned olive oil mixture. Turn over with tongs and brush the other side. Season each with salt and pepper then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Set the pan of seasoned cauliflower steaks into the oven and set your kitchen timer for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, turn the steaks over carefully and add the remaining parmesan cheese then return to the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cauliflower is fork-tender.
  • Remove your roasted cauliflower steaks with cheese from the oven and serve immediately.
