Equipment
1 large baking sheet pan
1 Basting brush
Ingredients
2½ - 3lbs.pork ribs
¾cupBBQ sauce
2Tbsp.Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon seasoning
1Tbsp.Onion powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 275°. Line your baking pan with foil for easier cleanup. I also like to spray the foil with non-stick spray.Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Yours may not have a membrane as many are already removed.
Place your ribs onto the prepared sheet pan with the meaty side up. Sprinkle heartily with Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon seasoning followed by the Onion powder.
Cover tightly with foil and place into the preheated oven. Set your kitchen timer for 2 hours. You will check your ribs at the 2 hour mark but expect it could take about 3 hours depending on how fast your oven cooks. You can tell the ribs are done when you see the meat begin to separate from the bone.
Remove the ribs from the oven and very carefully pour off excess liquid. I pour it into a bowl. Now, baste the ribs with your BBQ sauce and place them back into the oven uncovered for about 10 minutes. You can bake on the BBQ sauce for about 10 minutes or use the broiler so you get a little char on your ribs. If you use the broiler, keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.Serve and enjoy!
