1 pan with sides
1 medium size bowl
1 slotted spoon
2 forks
Ingredients
3-4piecesboneless, skinless chicken (breast or thights)
2 .87 ozpackets of chicken gravy
110.5 oz.can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cupchicken broth or water
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Line your Crockpot with disposable liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Add the chicken into the bottom of the Crockpot and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the soup, gravy mix and chicken broth then pour it over the chicken.
Cover with lid and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
Once the chicken is done, remove the meat from the slow cooker onto a pan with sides. Shred with two forks and return the meat to the Slow cooker. This is a good time to thicken the gravy.
How To Thicken The Gravy
When the chicken is almost done, dip up about 2 tablespoons of liquid from the pot into a small bowl and mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in with it. Keep mixing until you have not lumps. I use a small whisk. Then pour it back into the Crockpot and stir. Replace the lid and allow to simmer until done, at least another 20 to 30 minutes.
