Ingredients
1stickunsalted butter (room temperature)
1/4cupmargarine (room temperature)
3/4cuplight brown sugar
1/4cupsugar
1 1/2tspvanilla extract
1egg
2cupsall purpose flour
1tspbaking soda
1/2tspsalt
1(3 oz.) boxinstant vanilla pudding
3/4cupchocolate chip morsels
1 1/2cupsred and green M&M's
Instructions
In a medium bowl, add the flour, soda, salt and dry pudding mix. Stir to blend and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl beat the butter, margarine, brown sugar and sugar with your electric mixer on medium speed until nice and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and blend together.
Now, add the dry mixture and continue to mix on a higher speed until well blended.
Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the red and green candies. Fold it all together with the rubber spatula until well blended throughout the cookie dough. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
Baking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350° .Prepare you baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator. Begin forming the cookies using about 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough per cookie. Roll into a ball between your hands and plane the ball onto the prepared baking pan. The dough should be firm.
Bake for about 10-11 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven and immediately place a few more red and green M&Ms and chocolate morsels into the hot cookies before they cool. Then allow the cookies to cool on a cooling rack.
Carefully remove to an airtight container to store on the kitchen counter after the cookies are completely cooled. Serve and enjoy!
