Hi my dear blogging friends! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I am taking a hopefully short leave of absence from the party. It is my plan to come back as soon as possible. We have some serious illness in our family which has been requiring a great deal of our attention. While there is never a good time for hardship, 4th quarter in the blogging world is definitely not a good time!
It has been difficult to keep up these last few months in both my personal life and the blog which I love so much. We have two family members who are seriously ill. In addition, I have been assisting my oldest daughter through a broken foot ordeal which could only be setting records as the longest experience of a broken bone in the history of man. Time management and the ability to concentrate prevents me from devoting the attention I prefer to reading through your contributions to the party each week and selecting Features.
In the meantime, I will be focusing on producing new seasonal content as well as making our 4th Annual 12 Days of Christmas Event the best one yet. It begins late November this year.

I’m sorry to hear of the health issues in your family, Shirley. I pray that they will be better soon and for you. I can imagine how overwhelming it must be to try to keep up with all the blog commitments as well as taking care of others.
